Omega.
Branding, Website Design and Development
The Brief
Omega is a small national charity helping to keep older people connected and living well, particularly those with life-limiting illness, those who are approaching the end of life, carers and the bereaved. They prioritise the most isolated clients over the age of 75 who are struggling without supportive people around them and who can’t get the help they need elsewhere. Omega approached Oxon Creative to update their existing branding and develop their website to be fully responsive and accessible on all devices. Their aim was to make it easier for people to get help and to support their work through volunteering or making donations.
The Result
Oxon Creative met online with Omega to discuss the desired result for the new branding. Omega noted that they would like to retain the Omega symbol but freshen the whole design. We created a few different options to gauge direction. We then meet with Omega again and discussed the designs. The team agreed on one option and were very happy with the design. After one minor tweak, the new branding was born. With the branding agreed we then started designing the main website layouts. Straightaway the Omega team were excited with the direction we were going. We quickly developed the layouts on a staging site, allowing the team to view our progress. This process enabled Oxon and Omega to quickly progress through the site. The development of the new site has enhanced their search engine rankings and overall SEO. They have also noticed an increase in their form submissions.
After the first meeting to discuss what we needed, we felt Oxon had understood the brief and we were confident that they would deliver. They suggested ways we could make the website work better for us which was much appreciated. There was a bit of toing and froing with finalising some of the content and imagery at our end, but Oxon was very patient and responsive. The turnaround was quick too. We are very happy with the new website and have had some great feedback.
